# DayZ Admin Commands Guide

Admin commands in DayZ empower you to manage your server efficiently, from handling players to restarting the server and optimizing performance. This guide outlines the essential admin commands and their functions to help you maintain a smooth and controlled server environment.

### Admin Command List

**Login and Logout Commands**

* `#logout`: Logs out the current admin from the server.

**Server and Mission Management**

* `#restart`: Restarts the current mission.

* `#shutdown`: Stops the server entirely.
    
* `#restartserver`: Fully restarts the server.
    
* `#init`: Reloads the server’s configuration files.

**Player Management**

* `#kick Name/Player##/UserID`: Kicks the specified player. You can specify their name, player number, or SteamID64.
    
* `#exec ban Name/Player##/UserID`: Bans a player permanently. You can specify their name, player number, or SteamID64.
        **Example:** `#exec ban Playa` bans the player with the name "Playa."

**Performance Monitoring**

* `#monitor Seconds`: Displays server performance details for the specified time. Use `#monitor 0` to disable monitoring.

**Server Access Control**

* `lock`: Locks the server to prevent new players from joining.
    
* `unlock`: Unlocks the server to allow new players to join.
