# How To Add Workshop Items To Your DayZ Server

Adding Workshop items to your DayZ server is an excellent way to customize your experience with mods, maps, and unique features. This guide walks you through the process step-by-step.

**Step 1**: From Steam, please select DayZ

![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/a79f0cb367cf8000/image_1vsr1ir.png) **Step 3**: Find the mod(s) you would like.  On the workshop item page, right click and copy link / page url.

**Step 4**: Paste the Link into a notepad or something to keep track of. You will need the numbers at the end of the link.  This is the identifier for the mods.
![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/a79f0cb367cf8000/image_f3xsb9.png) **Step 5**: Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php) and head over to the **Advanced Game Panel** by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the **Startup** tab.


**Step 6: ** Once in the Startup tab, Look for the additional mods field you can also add these to the modlist (field next to additional mods).  Make sure to add the mods with @ and ; to separate. (@3369993498;@12345678;@98765432)
