# How To Change Server Visibility On Your Project Zomboid Server

Adjusting the visibility of your Project Zomboid server determines whether it appears in the public server browser or remains private. This setting is essential for hosting exclusive games with friends or opening your server to the wider community. In this guide, we’ll explain how to modify your server’s visibility quickly and easily.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php). You can also head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab.

**Step 2: **Stop your server

**Step 3**: Once in the Files tab, Locate the following file / directory. /home/container/.cache/server/pterodactyl.ini open this file.

**Step 4:**Once in this file, around line 66 change Public=true.  This will make the server appear public in the in game browser and anyone to join.  Save your file after changing.

**Step 5:** Restart your server.
