# How To Change The Server Name On Your  Soulmask Server

Changing the server name in Soulmask helps establish your server's brand and identity, making it more memorable and enhancing organization and categorization. A well-chosen name can also boost visibility in search results. Moreover, a unique server name can foster a sense of belonging among members and set your server apart from others with similar topics or themes.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php) and head over to the **Advanced Game Panel** by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the **Startup** tab**.**

​**Step 2:** Once on the Startup page, scroll down towards the bottom until you find the **Server Name** variable. Here you will create your server name
