# How To Change The World Size On Your Terraria Server

Changing the world size on a Terraria server allows you to customize the scale of your adventure, from a more compact map to a vast world filled with resources and exploration opportunities. Whether you prefer a smaller world for quicker gameplay or a larger one for extended exploration, adjusting the world size is a simple process. In this guide, we’ll explain how to change the world size on your Terraria server, so you can tailor the experience to your server's needs.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php) and head over to the **Advanced Game Panel** by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the **Startup** tab**.** Please make sure your server is stopped.

**Step 2:** Navigate to the **World Size** section. Select the desired size.

**Step 3:** Locate the **World Name** section and change the name to something new.
