How To Change Your DayZ Server Settings
Customizing your DayZ server settings allows you to tailor the gameplay experience to your preferences or community needs. Whether you want to adjust the server name, description, max player count, night brightness, or enable first/third-person views, these settings can be easily modified. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure your server for an optimized and personalized experience.
Step 1: Go to your NameHero Client Area and head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Startup tab. (Make sure your server is stopped before changing settings)
Step 2: Once in the Startup tab, scroll down to see all the variables you can change like server name, password, max players, add mods, first person or third person and more. Here you can change all the server variables!
