How To Configure Heroicmail on Android

Due to the large variety of Android devices and the many different methods for getting to the 'settings' we are only going to cover a simple setup of a Samsung device to access your Heroicmail account. There are many different mail apps you can download from the store to install and configure. Choose your desired mail client you wish to use and follow along with the basic IMAP settings needed.


BASIC MAIL SETTINGS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SETUP EMAIL!

incoming mail server: mail.heroicmail.com
username: you@your-email.com
password: *****
Use SSL, yes, port 993

outgoing mail server: mail.heroicmail.com
username: you@your-email.com
password: ******
Use SSL, yes, port 465


STEP 1: Choose "Other".



STEP 2: Then we put in the account credentials in similar format and hit "Sign in":



STEP 3: Choose IMAP



STEP 4: Remember to use mail.heroicmail.com as the incoming & outgoing mail server!



STEP 5: Be sure to enable 'authentication' and the associated SSL ports.



STEP 6: Now click Sign in. If your information is correct, it should now be configured.

TIP: If you continue to have issues setting up your mobile device, take your login credentials and all settings down to your local cell service provider and they can configure the mailbox for you!
