# How To Configure Mac Contacts with Heroicmail

Setting up your Mac Contacts App requires just a 'little bit' of configuration but if you follow the steps below your contacts will be synced in just a few short moments!

**STEP 1:**  Open your Contacts app.  Top left, click on Contacts, then Accounts.  On the next screen click on 'Add Account'.

**STEP 2:**  Click on Add Other Account.

**STEP 3:**  Click on Add CardDAV account.

**STEP 4:**  Choose 'Advanced' for the Account Type.  Enter in your email address and then your password.  Where it says server address put this: https://mail.heroicmail.com/webdav  Where it has path, put:  /users/YOU@YOUREMAIL.COM/  (use the trailing slash!). Then click on 'Sign in'.  You are now done!
