# How To Create A New World On A Terraria Server

Creating a new world on a Terraria server is the first step in starting a fresh adventure with friends or a community. Whether you’re aiming for a unique map layout or want to explore a different difficulty mode, generating a new world gives you a fresh canvas to work with. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of creating a new world on your Terraria server, ensuring you’re ready to build, explore, and conquer in no time.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php) and head over to the **Advanced Game Panel** by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the **Startup** tab**.**

**Step 2:** Once you are in the startup tab, scroll towards the bottom until you find the **World** variable. Here you will change the name of the world to something different (world2).
