How To Create A Staging Site with AI Website Builder
This article will help you to quickly create a staging website so you can work on your website privately. Once ready to go live you can quickly push to live!
STEP 1: Login to your account and click on Manage Site.
STEP 2: Click on the Staging button at the top right.
STEP 3: It will automatically put staging.YOURDOMAIN here. Leave directory blank and click 'Create Staging'
Note: Where it has the directory, you can leave this blank. If you do specify a directory the staging site will be visible via staging.yourdomain.com/directory-name. Best to leave it blank.
After doing so, you'll get a message along the top. Be patient as it's adding dns records and installing an SSL certificate for you all while copying your existing website over to the staging environment!
STEP 4: Now you will see a tab at the top left called 'Staging'. Click on it.
STEP 5: Now you can click on the Edit Website button to do your work. Once ready to go live click the 'Push to Live' button!
