# How to fix Palworld “Error! App ‘2394010’ state is 0x486 after update job.”

The “Error! App ‘2394010’ state is 0x486 after update job” usually appears after an update, indicating possible corruption or misconfiguration in the Palworld server files. This can cause server downtime, disrupting gameplay and affecting player satisfaction. To address this issue promptly, we've developed a reliable method to resolve the error and restore server functionality.

​**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php) and stop your Palworld server.

**Step 2:** Click on the **Advanced Game Panel** button above to automatically login to your Advanced Game Panel. Here you will be accessing the **Files** tab to locate the steam and steamapps folders to delete.

**Note: Please make sure to back up your server before doing these steps!**

**Step 3:** After deleting these folders, start your server and the update should take effect!
