By far the easiest option is to use the Forgot Password link to reset it. If you know your email address or username, simply proceed to your whmcs/admin login screen and use the Forgot Password Link! An email will be sent to you allowing you to reset your password that way!

If you have forgotten your username or email address, you can locate the user or email address via phpMyAdmin.

Login to cPanel and locate this icon:

Now find your mysql db associated with your whmcs installation. Expand it and find the table: tbladmins. If you scroll to the right, you'll see the user and or email address to use the forgot password link.

Please note, the password you see in phpMyAdmin is encrypted and that password you see in clear text will NOT work to login.

Reset Password from within WHMCS

If you already know your password and just want to reset it to be more secure or just to update it, you can do that from within WHMCS.

STEP 1: Upper right, click on the 'Wrench' icon and go to 'Manage Admins'.

STEP 2: Click on the edit button to the right of your admin login to edit on the next screen.

STEP 3: Update your password here and then hit Save Changes! You are done. You may need to log out and re-log back in.

Reset Password In phpMyAdmin

If all of the above is not an option, which I have seen before, you can do the reset right inside of phpMyAdmin.

STEP 1: Login to cPanel and browse to phpMyAdmin

STEP 2: Find the MySQL database associated with your WHMCS installation. Click on it. Find tbladmins on the left, then click Edit.

STEP 3: Scroll down to where your password is. Remove what is there. Change it to be your new desired password. Update the functions drop down to be MD5. Clear out the password hash.

STEP 4: Scroll to the bottom and click 'Go'. That should reset your pass and reencrypt it with MD5 and reset the password hash. Try to login now using your password you entered in STEP 3.

Although the interface seen in the video is a few years old and navigation is slightly different than it is now, it is still very helpful escpecially if you are resetting the password via phpMyAdmin!
