How To Setup Captcha in WP Forms in Herobuilder
The WP Forms is a nice addon that comes with WP SMTP. If you have not yet installed WP SMTP, then follow the instructions found here before proceeding with this tutorial.
This tutorial does not cover 'how' to create forms or the use of the plugin. It only covers setting up Captcha in the plugin that was auto installed with WP SMTP.
STEP 1: After installing WP SMTP, you'll see a link in the dashboard for WP FORMS. Click on it and then click Captcha at the top menu tab. Select reCaptcha.
STEP 2: Visit this URL and follow instructions below: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create. Give your site a label. (can be anything, it's just descriptive). Choose v3. Then add your domain without the http in front of it. Then click submit.
STEP 3: Copy the Site Key and Secret Key to a location for safe keeping. You will need it shortly and also in 'other' tutorials where captcha can be enabled!
STEP 4: In your WP Forms page scroll down. Toggle v3. Copy your site key and secret key and hit save settings at bottom.
