# How To Show Players On The Map On A Project Zomboid Server

Displaying players on the map in a Project Zomboid server enhances teamwork and navigation in the challenging game world. This feature promotes efficient regrouping, resource sharing, and threat response, fostering collaboration and immersive interactions among players for better survival strategies.  In this article we will go over how to enable this feature.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php). You can also head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the **Files** tab.

 **Step 2**: Stop your server

**Step 3:** Once in the Files tab, Locate the following file / directory.  **/home/container/.cache/server/pterodactyl.ini ** open this file.

**Step 4: ** Once in this file, around line 305.  Change MapRemotePlayerVisibility= and save the file.

Note: 1=Hidden 2=Friends 3=Everyone

**Step 5:** Restart your server.
