# How To Whitelist Players On Your Project Zomboid Server

Whitelisting players on your Project Zomboid server ensures that only approved individuals can join your game. This is especially useful for private servers or communities where you want to limit access to a trusted group. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of setting up and managing a player whitelist on your Project Zomboid server.

**Step 1:** Go to your [NameHero Client Area](https://www.namehero.com/clientarea.php). You can also head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab.
