Managed Firewall
NameHero Managed Firewall Solution
NameHero provides a managed Firewall for it's Unmanaged VPS solutions. This allows you to finely tweak access to your VPS and block unwanted ports or open ports depending on what you need to accomplish!
To access your managed firewall, login to your NameHero dashboard. Then click on manage next to your service!
From here you have some choices depending on what you would like to accomplish!
If you go directly to Firewall you can see current rules and also add additional rules!
To add a new rules, just click on the + Create Firewall Rule button! Be sure to enable it after you create it!
You can adjust the firewall options as well!
The great thing about NameHero's managed firewall, if you have specific applications you will be deloping you can apply a standard template to begin with and then tweak what you need!
