How To Add A Resource Pack To Your Minecraft Server

Adding a resource pack to your Minecraft server can significantly enhance your gameplay experience by altering the visual and auditory aspects of the game. Whether you want to introduce new textures, sounds, or a completely revamped aesthetic, incorporating a resource pack is a straightforward process that allows you to customize your server to your liking. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps necessary to upload and apply a resource pack to your Minecraft server.

Step 1: Go to your NameHero Client Area and head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab**.**



Step 2: Once you are in the files tab, scroll towards the bottom until you find the server.properties file. Click on this file to open it.



Step 3: Scroll down until you find the resource-pack field (line 45) and add the link to your resource pack. You can also change other settings like requiring the resource pack to join the server. Make sure to save this file after changing the setting.

Note: The link needs to be directly to the file, not the page that you download it from; it should end in .zip



Step 4: Restart your server and enjoy!
