How To Change Your Minecraft Server Version

By default all our servers come pre installed with the latest paper spigot version of Minecraft. If you would like to switch your Minecraft server to a different version / jar this guide will help you in doing so.

Step 1: Please make sure you have downloaded the jar / version of Minecraft you would like to install. There are many different forks or variants of jar files. Bukkit, Paper spigot, Purpur, or Java.

Step 2: Go to your NameHero Client Area and head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab**.**

Step 3: Once you are in the files tab, select the Upload button to upload your new jar file.

**Step 4:** After you have uploaded your jar file, head over to the Startup section in the panel. Here you will change the jar file in the variables and match it to the name of the new jar file you have uploaded.

**Step 5**: Start your server back up and enjoy your new Minecraft version.
