How To Connect To A Terraria Server

Connecting to a Terraria server allows you to join other players in a shared world, whether it's for cooperative building, exploration, or intense boss battles. Whether you're joining a friend's server or a public one, the process is straightforward once you have the right information. In this guide, we'll show you how to connect to a Terraria server step-by-step, ensuring you can dive right into the multiplayer action.

Step 1: Go to your NameHero Client Area. Here you can copy the Server Address & Port. You can also head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Terminal tab**.**



Step 2: Once you are in the terminal tab, on the right side you will see the Server address. Click on this to copy the Server / IP address.



Step 3: Open Terraria

Step 4: Select Multiplayer



Step 5: Click Join Via IP



Step 6: Create or choose a character (character must comply with the difficulty of the server)




Step 7: Enter IP Address and click accept (without port)



Step 8: Enter Port and click accept



Now you are connected and can play with friends!
