How To Disable Backups On Your Project Zomboid Server
Project Zomboid is an open-world zombie survival game where players scavenge a devastated landscape for resources. Currently available in early access, the game continues to receive regular updates, making it essential to back up servers before major updates. By default, automatic backups for Project Zomboid servers are enabled and occur during server startup and version updates. While this ensures data preservation, automatic backups during startup can extend server launch times and crashes. This feature can be disabled through the server configuration settings if desired.
