How To Install Mods On Your Terraria Server
Installing mods on a Terraria server allows you to enhance gameplay by adding new content, tweaking mechanics, or even creating entirely new experiences. Whether you're looking to improve quality of life with small adjustments or completely overhaul the game with total conversion mods, the process is fairly straightforward. This guide will walk you through the steps of installing and configuring mods for your Terraria server, ensuring that you and your players can enjoy a customized gaming experience. With the help of mod management tools like tModLoader, setting up mods on your server has never been easier!
Step 1: From Steam, please select tModLoader
Step 2: Head over to the workshop tab
Step 3: Subscribe to the mods you would like on the server
Step 4: On your computer, find the following directory locally: /SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/1281930
Step 5: Go to your NameHero Client Area and head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab**.
Step 6: Once here, find the Mods folder. /home/container/Mods
Step 7: Upload the desired mods in the advanced game panel or using SFTP with Filezilla.
Step 8: Open the enabled.json file
Step 9: Enter the .tmod names from Step 10 in quotation marks, separated by a comma. After this make sure to save and restart the server.
