How To Set A Custom Seed On Your Minecraft Server
Unique, case-sensitive values known as "seeds" specify the exact type of world to load into the game. There are a lot of possible seeds because the landscape in Minecraft is generated at random. In this article we will go over how to set a custom seed on your Minecraft server.
Step 1: Go to your NameHero Client Area and stop your Minecraft server.
Step 2: Head over to the Advanced Game Panel by clicking the blue button as seen in the screenshot above within the NameHero Client Area. Here you will be accessing the Files tab to locate the server.properties file.
Step 3: Once opening the server.properties file, navigate down until you find the level-seed line (29). Here you will input your custom world seed. After doing so, you can save this file and start your server.
