How To Sync cPanel Email Calendar in Outlook
Outlook does not natively support CalDAV for synchronizing calendars, but it can be done! If you are using Outlook on a Windows computer and wish to sync your calendar in Outlook you can do so by following the steps listed below!
STEP 1: Download the free third party application Outlook CalDav Synchronizer.
STEP 2: After downloading the application and installing it, Outlook will now have a new menu item along the top.
STEP 3: After installation click on the CalDav Synchronizer menu. Then click on Synchronization Profiles. Then click the green plus icon on the pop up display.
STEP 4: Choose Generic CalDAV/CardDAV and click OK.
STEP 5: Put the Name as Calendar. Then click on the ' ... ' button to the right of the Outlook Folder. Choose the Calendar and click OK.
STEP 6: Now you need to go login to your webmail account via yourdomain.com/webmail. Once logged in, click on Calendars and Contacts Configuration:
STEP 7: Copy the Alternate Server URL. You'll need that in the next step!
STEP 8: Now, back in Outlook, copy that url to the DAV URL. Enter your email address as username and password and email again.
Please click on 'Test or discover settings' button after you have pasted the DAV URL from webmail!
This will change the DAV URL to something like what you see below and a pop up will happen. Click OK again.
STEP 9: Now go add an item to your Outlook Calendar.
STEP 10: Now click on the Synchronize now button.
STEP 11: Go check it in webmail via the calendar and you should now see your new outlook syncronizing to the server both ways. Items you add in webmail will synchronize to outlook and items in outlook will sync to the server! Any time you wish to quickly sync, just click on the sync now button but it will automatically happen at regular intervals.
