Learn how our web hosting services and domains are priced as well as details on the different billing cycles offered.

When I started NameHero I wanted to be as transparent as possible with not only our web hosting limits, but also our pricing. There is nothing worse than running into a bunch of unexpected costs; we want our customers to know exactly how our services are priced and what they should expect.

NameHero Service Pricing

All of our Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS and Enterprise servers are priced per month based on the billing cycle that you choose. We value relationships at NameHero, therefore the longer you signup, the more you save.

Promotional / Coupon Codes

In addition to rewarding customers for their dedication (signing up for a multi-year term), we often offer incentives for new customers. We do this by providing coupon codes that reflect your first invoice/billing cycle and often reduce the price of your first term by up to 50%. We do not offer recurring discount codes at this time.

This provides two great opportunities to save big! If you're a new online business or startup - we want to help you keep your costs low, while continuing to offer the highest quality web hosting on the market today.

Web Hosting Packages

By default, our Web Hosting page lists the monthly price for each package based on a 36-month (3 Year) billing term. If you purchase any package for a 2-year or 3-year billing term, we also include a free domain registration or transfer (for the first year) on the following extensions: .com, .net, .org, .mobi, .us, .biz,

Our Starter Cloud and Plus Cloud packages are available on a 3-year, 2-year, and 1-year billing term.

Our Turbo Cloud and Business Cloud packages are available on a 3-year, 2-year, 1-year, and monthly billing term.

The price shown for new customers reflects the new customer discount applied, with the renewal price listed beside normally in the package table.

Reseller Hosting Packages

Our Reseller Hosting page also displays the monthly price for each package based on a 36-month (3 Year) billing term.

All of our Reseller packages are available on a 3-year, 2-year, 1-year, and monthly billing term. Customers that signup for a 3-year term save more than 30% than going monthly!

Just like our web hosting packages, the price shown for new Resellers reflects the promotional rate applied, with the renewal price listed beside normally in the package table.

Our Gold, Platinum, and Diamond NVMe Reseller packages also include a complimentary WHMCS Starter license, which is a $15.95/mo value, free!

Reseller Overage Pricing

With our Reseller Hosting packages, we provide disk space and bandwidth in bulk that you can offer your own to your own customers. Each package offers a set amount and we allow overselling; meaning you can oversell your resources, upgrading your package to the next tier as needed. This helps you get a jump start on your business the affordable way!

Most of our Resellers don't come close to resource limits, but in the event you are to go over your allocated disk/bandwidth allotment, we do not want to suspend your entire account as it would send all your customers offline. Instead, we impose an overage fee of $0.01 per MB over of disk/bandwidth. This is calculated monthly and sent via a separate invoice.

Rather than this overage, you can also upgrade your package at anytime to the next tier. Customers on our Diamond package needing to upgrade, would need to deploy a separate Reseller package, and our team can help migrate some of your accounts/data over.

VPS Hosting Packages

Our VPS Hosting page displays the monthly rate, based on a 1-year billing term, calculated with the new customer discount.

All Virtual Private Servers are available on a 1-year, 6-months, or monthly billing term. The new customer discount reflects your first billing term, with the renewal rate displayed beside normally.

Customer's needing to add additional disk space must upgrade to the next tier. For example, if you're on the Plus Cloud VPS and you need more than 60GB SSD storage, you would need to upgrade to the Turbo Cloud VPS. Since these servers are deployed in our high-speed cloud, these upgrades can happen in real time and only require a couple of minutes to complete. Additionally, if you need to upgrade, any amount paid is pro-rated to the upgrade.

If you're looking for a VPS with custom specs, meaning a different amount of disk, CPU, RAM than what's offered in our packages, you can build your own using our Flex Cloud.

Enterprise Hosting

Our Enterprise Hosting solutions are available on a monthly billing term. Any customer on a VPS, can easily switch over to our Enterprise Hosting servers - with no extended downtime - adding ample resources in the event of a high traffic spike. As with our other products, a prepaid amount will be pro-rated over to your upgrade.


When you register a domain name, you must pay a fee yearly to keep the domain. Failure to do so will make the domain available again to third-parties, therefore it's very important that you continue to renew each year. We recommend customers use/keep a valid credit/debit card on file as PayPal does not support automatic domain renewals.

You'll notice some domains in our Instant Domain Search engine are quite expensive. These are domains that are either considered premium by the registry or available from third-parties. Most often, the premium price is only for the initial registration, they renew at a normal rate after that.

When you transfer a domain, you must also pay a fee to move your existing domain into our platform. For most TLDs, this fee adds an extra year to your domain, and you do not lose anytime you've already paid for at your current provider.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee / Setup Fee

Prior to processing any web hosting service or domain registration you must read, agree, and comply with our Payment Policy. There is a checkmark on the checkout page that will not complete until you do.

  • Only our Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and VPS Hosting packages are included in our 30-day money back guarantee.

  • This means Enterprise Hosting servers, and domain registrations/transfers are non-refundable.

  • To be eligible for a refund, the hosting service must be cancelled within 30 days, along with a refund request sent to our accounting team to process.

  • Refunds are limited to 1 service per customer. Multiple accounts / services do not qualify.

  • Web Hosting / Reseller Hosting packages are refunded less a $8.95/setup fee.

  • VPS Hosting packages are refunded less a $19.95/setup fee (because of software licensing).

  • Add-on products/services including third-party licenses and migration fees are non-refundable.

  • Once you submit a refund request to our accounting team, they will process the refund within 31 days per our Payment Policy.

AUP/TOS Violations

Accounts found to be in-violation of our Terms of Service and/or Acceptable Usage Policy are subject to immediate termination without a refund/notice.

For Resellers and customers providing services to third-parties are solely responsible for ensuring that all accounts comply and abide by our terms. Failure to do so will result in complete account termination.

NameHero also reserves the right to fully cooperate with law enforcement/ other agencies in regards to any customer found violating our TOS/AUP. More details here.

Auto Service Renewal

All web hosting services and domain registrations/transfers at NameHero have auto renewal enabled by default. We place a very high value on offering reliable services and never want your website to go offline (or you to lose your domain name).

If you do not want your service/domain to renew, you must cancel it inside of our Client Area. For your security, and to verify the authorized party is cancelling the service, any request outside of the client area cannot be honored.

Additionally, for auto renewal to work properly on domain names, you must use a valid credit/debit card; PayPal and Coinbase do not offer automatic domain renewals.

Coupon / promotional codes are not valid for service renewals and multi-accounts / cross-account transferring is strictly prohibited. User's found in violation are subject to immediate termination from our platform without notice.

Late Invoices / Delinquent Payments

As a courtesy, we provide a four-day grace period on all invoices without penalty. This means you have up to four days after the invoice's due date to make your payment in full. After this grace period is up, delinquent services are suspended an a 15% invoice late fee is imposed.

We do not provide invoice extensions past this grace period.

While we make every effort to provide ample notice, services with overdue invoices are subject to termination at anytime. Once a service is terminated for delinquent payment, we cannot guarantee the recovery of your data/website files. More information about late payments is detailed in our Terms of Service.

Domains not renewed by invoice due date are no only subject to our invoice late fee, but also additional fees imposed by the registry such as a grace fee or redemption fee. We also cannot guarantee domain recovery past invoice due date.

Additional Fees

While we cannot guarantee the retrieval of data for terminated accounts, in some cases we maybe able to recover it from our backup servers as long as a request is made to our Technical Support team within 7-days of account termination. If we're able to restore the data, we reserve the right to impose a $50 per account (non refundable), which must be paid within that 7-day window prior to a restore being completed.

Any invoice payment disputed by a financial institution, including PayPal, will result in all services being suspended with a $50 admin fee being imposed per transaction, regardless dispute reason. We reserve the right to counter payments disputed and will submit evidence to financial institutions including client access logs and other account data. Any accidental payment made should be taken up with our billing team rather than being disputed.

Accounts suspended due to disputed transactions will not released until 1) The dispute has been closed by the financial institution and they've notified NameHero (this process takes an average of 90 days) or 2) Account holder has provided verification, Outstanding invoice has been satisfied, including the $50 per transaction disputed fee.
